Here are some more shots. This time of 'ol #3' the snow plow on the Ginkho Bay RR. It was scratch-built from plans in an old NGSLG. It looks like 'ol #3' has been around a few years.

That is so cool. (no pun intended ;) ) I never seen a snow plow like that before. I think that would fit right in on my layout as some of the MOW equipment.

Back-woods...............I like it.

That is one nice model, great attention to details, it makes it!:thumb:

Was there a prototype or is it freelanced?

According to the plans it was based on West Side Lumber Co's. plow #02. Here is the reference I used: NGSLG July/Aug 1989 - By Julian Cavalier. Good luck.

A beautiful piece of machinery, and a great example of scratchbuilding! :thumb:

What kind of motive power would you use to smash this thing into a snow drift? Is this a snow plow out of the 4-4-0 (Genoa or Inyo) aera? (Can't imagine to use this plow ahead of a Cab Forward! :D :D :D )

Thanks to everyone for their kind words about my pictures.

It is HO scale. I'm not sure what kind of loco was used to push it. Whatever it was I'm sure it the old plow creaked, groaned and moaned. You'd have to ask one of the log heads on this site.
