Thank you.I,m doing what they suggested at the 405th read, read and read more.quit a few have had great success with resin on paper.I,m going to read some more post this weekend and start the resin next week .I,ll post the process as I do it .starting armor too me and strawberry1963(my girlfriend )will be doing the paper form for the helmet over the weekend.I love it! Will be interesting to see how the resin coating app turns out. How are you planning to apply the stuff? I'm guessing by brush and tres gently too?
Look forward to seeing this in all its glory. :thumb:
I can,t see why not.I my self do not have the skills to do it .But there are many people here that have the talent to acheave that. Some thing else that would have to be address is internal structure. You could put the internal structure in and just paint it too.I,m going to go with the resin method because I,m finding people love to handle them after they are built.I have one friend that handles my Thompson at lease 4 times a week.Is there any way this model can be textured so that it can be built for normal use instead of being fiberglassed for armor? I'm a member of the 405th and I've never understood why two versions aren't made-- normal papercraft weapons are pretty darn cool and I for one would love a Reach sniper rifle.

I am quit sure if you go over to the 405th and talk to the designers of the model you want textured. You could strike up a deal with them.I would love textured versions of some of these weapons also. I do extensive internal reinforcement with 1mm card as i build anyway so all my models are quite handleable as long as you're not too rough with them
