A friend of mine decided, (after seeing all the Star Trek models that I have built), that he wanted an Imp Star Duce, and wanted me to build it. About half way through I decided that it would be nice for me to post the progress. :) So this is what I have done so far. I started by laminating the hull segments to 1mm thick cardboard. Then I built the landing bay, along with a miro size Tydirium :D

He also wanted the Tantive IV in the launch bay. Even though the SD that caught the Tantive IV was an Imp Star 1 not a 2. So I put in in there :D

I found that I HATE greebling but it does make for a good looking model. :D

Well, that is as far as I have gotten so far. When I finish The SD he also wants a Falcon attached to the back of the control tower. That's going to be tough, I already have it printed and it is less then 1/2" long.

Wow! This looks fantastic. Love the Tantive IV. The greebling really does make a huge difference.

great but a tantive AND a falcon...
Damn that's a busy star destroyer :-)
hunting for 2 spaceships at te same time.

Greebling is hard work..andit progress very slowly....
but when done right it looks awesome.

I gave the SD to my friend but his wife said he could not have it. So... I get to keep it :) With that being said, I decided 1 SD would be lonesome, so I decided to build the fleet. (At least one of each class that Milliniumfalsehood designed.)

So here is the Venator class.

I am looking forward to seeing the Victory II class and how it will turn out.
