Micro Train Magnetic Uncoupler

I have ordered a magnetic microtrain uncoupler, the kind I think you can disguise as a crossing. I have read a lot about the nightmares of magnetic coupling problems. What do you think, I do have Rix Pix if they will not work. any ideas?

My experience with magnetic uncoupling is in HO scale, and I can say that in the end, I prefer to do it manually with a bamboo skewer or other tool. I would limit the use of magnetic uncoupling to areas that you cannot easily reach.
