Man-tga-xxl

Funny the way things go, but yesterday, for the first time, I saw a Mann tractor trailer rig. I was shocked. I know that it was your model build that made me notice it. I thank you for posting this build here. It will be referenced for many years, so please post as many steps as you feel are necessary to the construction,. You will benefit many. Again, Thanks!!:thumb:

To Zathros:
Must have been quite a sight.
MAN trucks are quite common here. However the large XXL is mainly used for long distance transport and in the city is often only visible as special vehicles.
The fire dept have a few of them.
The city have a special version for maintenance of sewers and channels
One of the local ready mixed concrete producer have few of them equipped with rotating drum as delivery trucks.
Etc.
I will continue posting my progress as agreed.

Updating.

Very slow progress, but all the wheels are now done.

Here some pictures:

1. Parts for one wheel.
2. One wheel.
3. A lot of wheels. It looks just like a Dunlop assembly line.

Wheels are tough. Those represent quite a bit of work. They look good too! :)

It's time to update some progress.
Here some pictures of 6 sets for the rear axles.

1. Parts partially assembled for the 6 sets.
2. 1 set without wheels
3. 1 set included wheels

Next post will be all 6 sets on the rear axles carrier.
