That's another great tutorial. It's definitely a method worth experimenting with. I must say, I am impressed by your coloring. I am not sure if it is your camera or the lighting in your layout room, but the colors of everything on your layout look spot-on to me. That reddish stained gray of your rocks is just about perfect for basalt.
