Hello all i know they make them esp for the tracks but is there a cheap way to get around that? If there is ill take all ideas into consideration thanks.

If your talking about not using magnets, bamboo skewers work great. Slide the tip between the couplers and twist the skewer.

I use a penlight with a toothpick fixed by some scotchtape.

I've sen somewhere that Radio Shack rare-earth magnets work fine.
