Location-Location???

While I'm waiting for my LHS to call me telling me that my last Peco turnout is in I have been busy trying to see in which position my vehicle overpass looks best.
The first picture shows it going straight back on the layout

The second picture shows it on an angle to the left

I prefer it going back on an angle.What do you guys think? Bob

In general rule, keeping things from having edges perpendicular and parallel to the layout's edge will make your layout look larger. By "things" I mean tracks, roads, buildings, etc. Even just a few degrees from perendicular will make your scene appear larger and more interesting. So, going by that rule, the overpass at an angle will make your scene look larger and more interesting.

Thanks Kevin-I agree.Even though the upright supports will be basically in a straight line the overpass itself will be angled. And yes some of the foreground track is parallel to the front edge of the layout it is set back from the edge with structures in front of the track so that it will not be that noticeable.Thanks again-Bob
