Please can anyone help with suggestions where to look for a 12-18 volt AC transformer. It is for a hand throttle and the instructions require only AC 12-18 volts capable of supplying sufficient current for a model 850. I will have to contact the supplier to check the current but I suppose it will be around 3 amps
Incidentally I found a DC transformer on a old laptop computer following a suggestion from another forum on 'The Gauge '

I've used the Radio Shack (now Circuit City, I think) transformer to power Intrakit HH 1, and HH 2 SCR throttles and also a MAW-SCALE Dyna-Power transistor throttle. The AC side of the MRC Controlmaster 20 will also work, but is a big expense if you don't require the DC side too.

My thanks to everyone. I checked a old table light and found it had a 12V AC 25VA transformer so I used that.
