Hi all, as I wrote in Introduction forum, I'm from Slovakia and I'm newbie here... I've heard about this forum from Patero, so I register too...

And now the model. I thing it's usseless introduce this great model from Renova Model. Maybe some of you even know the Bernies kraz (from Czech), for me one

of the best patined model ever...

I started something like that:

WOW! That is mighty fine! You have some super clean super small folds there! How do you get them so crisp? Do you score from the back with a knife?

cgutzmer - I don't know if I clearly understand you :( (sorry, my bad english)...

what are folds? can you mark it in some of the pictures? or something? then I can tell you...

realy sorry... I need to improve in the paper craft part of english :)
 
Well I have this model... I'm sweating just reading the instructions and looking at all the parts.

I would probably pass out if I had to build it your way. =O
 
Amazing. I can not imagine working at such a small scale. I makes my eyes ache just thinking about trying.

The only way I could ever come close to making something this nice would be to shrink myself down to only a few inches and work 1:1:mrgreen:
 
Thanks to all for praisefull words.

I don't have any step by step fotos, but in future I can make some foto reports from work, but its only cutting, gluing and painting :)...

I can tell you some "hints" (maybe you know all of them), which I use...

for make copper wires streight I use technic which I learn from Roman V. (from czech forum)... It's very easy and greate... suffiece roll the wire with rasper (riffler)... more are here, it's roman v. post and it is in czech, but I think the pictures are enought for understand the metod...

Soon I start with engine for KpA3, so I can make some step by step report...

Most of all what I know I learn from different foroums on internet, so it's abut searching, reading learning and experimenting...

It just came to my mind - try this - put paper to some strog spirit for about 10 -15min (I use technical spirit - 60 - 70%) and then tray to bend it, it will be very interesting - paper will be flexible like it was in water, but stay normaly strong...

It's very difficult for me explayn that corectly, but tray and you see...

After some training it's very good technick for making more plastic look for sides of simple wheels...

And I can't forgot - I learnt this from Losllanos (from Slovak forum)

I continue with beta test, the parts fits good so I'm full of expectations...
It don't look like part of engine but there stil missing about sixty parts on this one block :)...
