KCS CSX loco

KCS 4612, an AC4400CW, at 32nd Street Westbound. Unfortunately, the second, third and fourth units would also have made good photos, but they train was moving too fast.

Till I read an article in Business Week about KCS, I had no idea that they were becoming a "big" player in the long-haul routes. There's big plans for an intermodal transfer center in Mexico that will link up with their route structure. Guess I need to make plans on adding one KCS diesel to my layout "route structure".
 
Cool leader but I only see lease junk behind it. You can have all that down in Anderson; I'm sick and tired of it up here.

Brian,I still like the HELM,GATX and MPI lease units..I get tired of seeing UP units on the NS.They're getting so common they're not worth a second glance IMHO.
