Hi, D-Whale! :wave:

Ich lese seit Jahren schon deine Posts auf Kartonbau.de . Deine Modelle sind der Hammer und dieses ist wirklich SUUUPER! (Super winzig, aber auch SUPER COOL!)

:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Those are excellent. If you paint the other one black, you can make it the shadow of the textured one!! :)

@Revell-Fan
Das ist schön zu hören und zu lesen :wave:

@Zathros
or it is in black a special force like these:

not really something to do with the DS9-Maquis, but everything is possible!
i did also a optional part for the stand with a patch of them and if i print the parts with inverted colors it could be looks good!:twisted:

here the stand! don´t worry, without the model parts is it not too much worth!

can't wait for this one to be done :thumb:

WOOOW! The Yeager looks fantastic! :thumb:

Funny note:

It was one of the first "new generation" kitbash ships. The VFX artists around Greg Jein and Gary Hutzel actually took the commercially available Revell plastic kits of the Voyager and the Maquis Raider to make the filming model. So instead of having to make new expensive molds etc. they only spent about 40 $ for the outer hull (cheap erh, "economy" class :mrgreen:).

The origins of that class were explained by saying that the Federation ran out of supplies and raw materials during the Dominion War. So they recycled parts from different vessels and created new classes. However, many fans were a bit puzzled when they first saw this class because of the differences in scale. How would the Federation manage to equip a massive Intrepid class command section with a "tiny" Ju'Day class engine section? Well, I was never really thinking of that issue. The ship looks great and will make a fine addition to the fleet.
