Just to try and cheer up the flyboys, well those who build modern US navy anyway this is a sample of the deck he did for Tarawa

Geez, that looks better than ANY kit I have seen free or not!

John you are one heck of an artist. That coupled with the excellence that is anything built or designed by Barry can only mean one of the best looking models ever made!
Man I can't wait to see this thing finished.

I also can't wait to see what John does with his brown water fleet, the paint is probably gonna look better than the real things ever did!
 
Johns deck

This is just an attempt to put John's deck in context weather is awful so pic is not great. There are a couple of things to iron out between us and of course it is not even stuck together and it will be about 1/2" higher up but I'm happy with it looks better printed than on the screen.
