I Need Layout Help!!!

Hey Guys!!
Hows it going!!
Yeah the Forum is up and Running!!!

Here is my thought...dun...dun...dun!!!
I am beginning to dislike my current layout and have been searching for another layout.
I couldn't find anything I like.
So I thought maybe the guys at the forum could help me out.
So the challenge is to redesign my existing layout to fit with the era i am modeling

Parameters:
lOGGING/MINING SETTING
Would like a roaming logging camp
A 4X8 table is all I have to work with
set in the 1950's Late Steam Erly Diesel
Small rundown town in the center of a mountain valley
preferablly a mountain in the top right hand corner
little to no elevation
can have tunnel
must include roundhouse and turntable(seen in photo)
Must Include following Buildings
In Photo:
Yellow=Mine (three stalls)
Green=Canning Company
Blue=Grain Warehouse
Light Purple=Coal Loader
I am curius to see what you guys can come up with
Hope I can get a few tips and tricks

I think I replied to this thread before the gauge was changed. I was wondering if you had a reason that you had to limit yourself to a 4x8 table instead of an around the walls shelf layout?

I can am limited to the 4x8 table
That is all that I can use in the basement
