I Just Finished Watching Polar Express

I suspect the movie will have only the most vague resemblence to the Beowulf of literature. For one thing, Angelina Jolie's character, the mother of the monster, is originally a hideous old hag in Beowulf. Not so much with the eye catching hips!

As a Literary Buff, I think I have to see Beowulf. I remember reading Beowulf in Olde Englishe (yeah, 30 years ago).:mrgreen:

I had to read only a small part of it this year in my 11th grade english class. Most everybody liked it, except for me of course, I couldnt understand the Old English or whatever it was, so the teacher gave us another old english story, Im now out of the class, the story was ok but nearly impossible to read. besides I spent all my time in that class thinking about trains, (or the girl I likeops I would maybe like to see the movie though, not my kind of movie,but since I read the book..........
