House behind the Lighthouse

Those Harvards are noisy beasts. I flew them when I was in the RCAF. We called them yellow bricks. They said if you could fly one of them you could fly anything. Even though I had many solo hours in a DH Chipmunk it still took around 20 hours to solo a Harvard. They were called Texans in the US.
 
Hey, it can't be that noisy, it had an R-1380, the same engine that pulled me around southeast Asia in an Otter. Of course, I'm half deaf in my left ear, cause we always flew with the window open and the augmenter tubes are right below the door. :D
