The scale of this model will be around 1:90 or thereabouts depending on how you print it. I'm almost done with the model; all I have to do is the testbuild and the base. Might probably get this up either later today or on Friday.
Dude. That is an EXCELLENT idea.If you ever want to make one of these for use as a real glider, find the C.G. put some ailerons at the end, make them so they can split, and add some tape inboard to act as flaps. Make the model so the leading edge (with the fat leading edge) appears as an upside wing. The negative pressure induced by the wings leading edge will generate massive lift. You may see some spectacular spins, but also incredible flights. Use a nickel or quarter for weight, with the finger hole just behind it. Doodle below. Just for fun. Your model looks great!
I am not at all proud of this model.
Your model looks great!
Totally agreed! :thumb:Rocketman Tan
I think you should be, after all, YOU created something out of sheer imagination. YOUR imagination. And YOU built it.
It may look like a simple model, but it's not so easy to glue a wing with real attack angles.
Of course, your harshest critic should always be YOU, but I think it's great.
