Another manufacturer to consider for hoppers is MDC. They have a nice series of three bay hoppers, offset and outside braced. In addition to the three bays, they offer a nice 40' ballast hopper with longitudinal doors. Check 'em out sometime.

Thanks for the recommendation. It took me this long to reply because I initially looked up MDC in the Walthers catalog but didn't find a listing. I didn't recognized NDC was the manufacturer of Roundhouse hoppers till today. I'll look out for good sale prices. Take care, Jim
