One thing im loving about learning to scratchbuild is that every new scratchbuild seems to look better. Not to mention, my speed gets better too. As always, I thank the Guage for all the advice.
My latest venture was a fire station. I threw this together today. As always, forgive the crappy camera phone pics.
The base is foam board covered in styrene HO brick sheets. Then I grabbed some parts from a roof detailing kit and made the "edgings" in the middle and top from the brick strips. You cant see the bricks detail, but they are there. Then I used a dryer sheet painted black as a tar roof and added the flashes on the roof that I got from the same roof detail kit.
