Hey guys, can you please help me identify these 5 engines shown below? These are HO models, and I know the manufacturers of all but one. However, I don't know the slightest thing about diesels, so I'm hoping you can tell me what model of engine the protos would be. Please forgive the childish paint jobs on three of them, I was a kid 30 years ago when I painted them. I might keep them, fix them, or sell them, who knows, but I'd like to know what they are. Thanks for any help.

Mike

According to their webpage "You do not have access to this function." Anybody else get an error?

I think you have to be member to view graphics files. Some forums have that requirement.

1 - AHM Alco 1000 hp switcher - a faux Alco, no real prototype
2 - AHM GP-18
3 - Bachmann U36B
4 - Athearn(??) GP-7 Hard to tell the manufacturer from the pic
5 - Athearn Baldwin S12

#1 was also released by Model Power in the late '80s early '90s, and #2 by Bachmann, but your 30 year date suggests AHM to me.

I had forgotten Lionel had a brief foray into HO scale! Cool. On the ones I've tagged as AHM, you can confirm it if you see a little triangular logo on the bottom of the fuel tank or trucks (That's usually where the stuck it).
