Hello from the Bluegrass State of Kentucky. I found my way to paper modeling over the Christmas holiday while looking at a printable wargame involving blimps. I've only built one model that's worth talking about so far and I can't remember where I downloaded it from but it was the last of the V-8 interceptors.

Yessir. I printed it on too thick of cardstock I think. but it turned out okay for my first attempt. I'm probably going to try to focus on early submarines.

Hello and welcome to Zealot. You have come to the right place for all things paper (as well as other mediums). Many of our members are HUGE SCI-FI geeks (myself included). SO, I hope that will help you feel more at home here.

You did a great job on the V8 interceptor from Mad Max. For the majority of my projects, I use 110# (0.22mm thick) cardstock (that I get at my local Walmart).

If you have any questions, comments, concerns, need help or advice, please feel free to ask. We will do what all we can to help you (or at least point you in the right direction).

When you do build a model I would like to invite you to post build threads of your projects. Build threads are a great way to show off your skills and techniques, as well as to highlight problem areas that you may need help with or show how you were able to solve said problem.

Once again welcome aboard. I hope that you enjoy yourself.
