My is John Hainbecher
I live inTrenton Michigan - Detriot area / downriver
I started in this hobby last winter when a friend gave me 2 issues of Model Railroader March and April 1999 both of them have model steel mills in them.
I really don't have a layout as of now,Just some structures on 4'x8'plywood in HO scale.
I want to move down south but I have to wait until the market improves to sell my house.
I don't want to build something just to tear it down.
I worked 32 years at National Steel/ Great Lakes Steel.
Over that time I worked in all parts of the plant and yes that includes Zug Island.I started off as production for 4 years and the rest of the time I was as a maintenance tradesman.
