Hello!
I have been building and creating paper models for many years. I was inspired at a young age by my grandfather who was into math and geometry and would make complex card models of geometric shapes. It was an inspiration to me that I could make the most complex designs from a simple flat piece of paper. With the advancement of home inkjet and laser printers coupled with my graphic abilities and Corel Draw I have made many models and even more un finished projects.

Hello and welcome to Zealot. You have come to the right place for all things paper (as well as other mediums). Many of our members are designers, and are always willing to help out new members who are getting into designing.
What genre(s) are you interested in? If you have any photos of some of models that you have built in the past, we would greatly enjoy seeing them.

If you have any questions, comments, concerns, need help or advice, please feel free to ask. We will do what all we can to help you (or at least point you in the right direction).

When you do build a model I would like to invite you to post build threads of your projects. Build threads are a great way to show off your skills and techniques, as well as to highlight problem areas that you may need help with or show how you were able to solve said problem.

Thank you for your Introduction. Making geometric models for Geometry class go me started in paper modeling, as making real looking paper models that actually glided did. Living in a 3 story building was a boon for launching.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Thank you for your introduction. It's always great to meet a new designer. My main topics are scifi-related (Buck Rogers and BSG). I use a combination of SketchUp, CorelDraw, Gimp and a tiny bit of brainz. Please feel free to post some pictures of your work. We'd love to see them!
