have you seen this

Designed to melt and remove snow using J-57 jet engine producing 7,000 lbs. of thrust. Engine exhaust nozzle can be tilted and rotated. Uses 275 horsepower diesel engine for propel. Optional attachments allow conversion for working ballast.

Hi Scooby, great looking piece of hardware to scratchbuild sometime. Just one small thought, as it's an ex Jet engine, what happens to it if someone flips it to full power:D Goes backwards at one hell of a rate. :rolleyes:

what i know of this is they used it in the ship yards and in bridges i seen it roll down the track and i talked to the enginer and he told me that the jet motor is made to angle and it has a safety gard on it when the jet motor is all the way up you can't turn it on that would be on good ride if they did hit it when it was all the way up i'm trying to find some specs on this
