Truly exceptional work. Design and build your own model of a Viking long ship, based of details from one found in the mud. Wow, truly gifted, and it looks great too.

Bigptr, you really got that rudder perfect. The rudder looks like a pin, but it is actually a knot from a thick rope , this is what allows the tiller man to steer the boat, which could not be done if the rudder had a straight pin. You probably knew this, but I have a couple of pictures that show how the know looked, and shows how the rudder could be steered, there was also a rope tied to the trailing bottom corner of the rudder, to life and lower it. I also found a really neat picture of a Viking rudder tiller handle. ;)

It would be pretty hard, your model is coming out so beautiful though. I doubt I'd let anyone that close to this model anyways!! :)
