Georgetown Derailment

A 56 car train derailed on the approach to the Credit River bridge where the double track goes to single track to cross the old iron bridge.
Conductor and engineer managed to escape injury.
The train was eastbound from Battle Creek Michigan to Concord, Ontario

rockislandmike, the Credit Valley Railway Co. is located in what used to be the town of Streestville but has been absorbed by Mississauga. It is about 20 kms south east of here.
