great site!!!I`ve build the cessna and the mooney but my dog found them before I bought my first camera.....very nice models and a very good find Zathros!!!Thanks.

With flying versions as well! Instead of just waving them around the room (am I the only one who does that?) we can toss them into the sky and let them do their own thing. Nice find.

Thanks

That's a great collection there Zathros. I hadnt seen it before so thanks for posting it.

You may recall that I work at the local airport part-time. A few weeks ago there was a meeting of the Cessna 172 club -North America wide I think - here in town. For most of the week there were about 70 planes here, including 18x series. If I had known about these models I'd have taken more pictures to do a repaint. One of the planes that was here holds the record as the fastest 172 ever at 200 mph. It even had a chrome prop.

Great stuff.

Actually, I didn't know you worked at an Airport. I ran an FBO on the weekends at Danbury Airport for almost 2 years. Funny how you can hang around a place like that and watch 8 or 10 hrs. fly by!

I search high and low for these models, then download all of them for archival purposes. I have seen so many sites and models come and go it has become an obsession. Glad you liked the site! :)

Wow, that's one smoking fast 172! Especially with a never exceed speed of 188mph. A lot of people look down on the 172s but I love them.

Who doesn't like Cessna's!! To be honest though, their stall characteristics were a bit much for me, I enjoyed the Piper Warriors benign handling and visibility better, I am still trying to find a really nice Piper Warrior model. :)

Very nice models. They look very well designed.
thanks for sharing!

Zathros ....... Sir ......... forgive me for pointing out that it is 'motherlode', rather than 'motherload'. :thumb:

'Motherload' is when my Mum puts a bunch of stuff in the washing machine. sign1
