By the time I got to town, the GP-60 was cut-off and sent to the barn. Housatonic GP-35 was used to spot Ol' Blue on the industrial siding. The GP-9 was idling on the main to Torrington as the GP-35 did swithcing duties.
Back where she started, short a year, but not on miles. In a few days Ol' Blue will be sent to NERC for inspection and repair then sent on her way to California and another tour.
It'll be heading back out on the road this week, Ricardo.
First, its going to Califonia, then Canada again...back here to be shipped over seas.
Might take a couple of months to get back across the border like that last time, so there's no telling how long it will take.
But it'll get there.
You know, if the boxcar did get lost, I have a Gauge tankcar that could flit about the world, at least for a while, until I get more of my layout done (i.e., like a year or so). I'll find some pics tonite and post 'em.
Sorry for the delay.......
Because of personal problems, the Gauge boxcar was put on hold, along with my modelling. Now that things have been resolved, 'Ol Blue should be hitting the rails again.
Again.....I'm really sorry.
