Fraser Canyon summer 2001

These pictures are taken from a viewpoint at the Cisco Briges area of the canyon.
The first shows a train approaching the tunnel leading to the bridge.

The next picture is zoomed in for a closer look.

Note how the tunnel is designed as a partial shed for rock slides in summer and snow in winter.

After passing through the tunnel the train crosses the bridge.
I couldn't get any more of the bridge as it was blocked by trees.

HOME SWEET HOME... Man did you get some cool pics...Did you get any pics of the tunnels down by Hell's Gate too? I miss that part of Canada so much. Anyways I'm not shedding a tear, honest. LOL.

Just on checking these pics, I don't think some of you guys realise how much your layouts do match the prototype scenery etc. Job well done guys!
