Forum Loading Problems?

Is anyone else having problems loading pages when you click on them? Seems the problem we had last time is happening again lol. When you click on a thread or hit submit reply, sometimes it takes you to a blank page and wont load and you either have to keep refreshing the page (which sometimes that doesnt work) or you have to click the back button and try it again. I member this happened before not to long ago.....

Just wanted to let the mods know so that they could forward it to the tech's :wave:
 
It's been happening on and off for the last coupla' days....Last night was really bad...I gave up after waiting for several minutes for a page to load....

Ive also noticed long loading times for pages, but this morning when i tried to go to the new posts i got an error msg that it could not find the server, that went on for about 20 mins, then i was having problems loading pages and them coming up as blank pages, but all seems to be better now and things seem to be loading properly and faster now
 
It happens to me every once in a while. I just leave the forum and come back a day or so later and it seems to work fine. Sometimes it will work fine when I'm checking one section of the forum and then will start loading slow when I go to another section. I don't know if it is general traffic on the internet or what. I don't have the same problems on other forums I use, but it hasn't been consistent enough to enable me to contact a mod with anything specific.

I usually dont post on the slowness of the forums sometimes because i do have a feeling its because of the MANY people that visit the gauge everyday. All those people makes things run a bit slower, but hey, thats what makes the gauge a great forum, all the great people who contribute there knowledge and ideas :thumb: :mrgreen:

The only reason i posted this thread this morning was because i was getting the blank page almost everytime i clicked on a new thread or tried to submit a reply lol. But it appears the "gremlines" have been caught and all is good now :mrgreen:
 
Oh yeah. I've been having trouble loading pages. Sometimes I'd get a blank page with "Done" in the lower corner. Seems to be running better now.

Well, surprise, surprise, we've changed servers again, that's what these problems you've been having are all about. There were a few unexpected problems earlier in the week, but there was some scheduled down time yesterday and today because of the server change, and there might still be a bit more in store while the re-sync the database.
