Okay. I was so excited when I got the shipment from Amazon yesterday. Included was a novel titled Foamers, by Jon Berson.
One of the only fiction novels dealing with trains/Amtrak, I was hooked at first sight.
It's about a "foamer" (Amtrak speak for railfan), a PR guy at SEPTA, who has to investigate who's behind a series of recent train accidents around the country, and enlist help from a female FBI agent to boot.
It was so good, I read it all today. I couldn't resist!
I was just wondering, has anyone else read this book? I would certainly like to hear about it.
