There is a very nice free 1:250 fishing boat at Coastal Forces in Paper. Click on "Free models" on the side menu.
Going from 1:250 to 1:87 is a bit of a jump, might run into some fit issues.

How old fashioned? Sylvan Scale Models has some rowboats and canoes, I think. or were you thinking of Ocean Fishing, to supply the Flying Kipper?
