First build thread, the steamrunner!

For my first build thread on here, I'd like to post a beta-build of paragon's steamrunner! I say beta-build since my printer is apparently running out of ink, and made some weird patterns on the model, haha. After looking at a lot of pictures online, and the model pages themselves, there is a lot of untapped greebling potential that I can add to the model. I also noticed some missing details such as the transporter transceivers, but that is WELL beyond my scope of knowledge to add to the model, haha.

Starting off with the simple shapes, I rounded corners where I could to come away with a very nice-looking result on the left(?) nacelle. Be working on the other and main engineering next.

Got the bug a little and got ahead of myself with the engineering hull, almost forgot to take any pictures!
The scale of the deflector is a little scary, so that's a tomorrow project.

That's a great start looking forward to see how this turns out.

Printer problems thats a common issue here.

Thank goodness for tweezers! The deflector dish was interesting to say the least, but went together much smoother than I thought. After adding some strips to the inside of the engineering pod/hull, it was nice to find the dish was about the size of my finger, so easy clamping haha.

Next is the other nacelle!

Thought I'd detail the other nacelle. I discovered after I finished that I put the name plates on the wrong nacelles, so they'll be upside down, haha. But other than that, pretty much a five sided box.
The ventral part of the saucer decided to warp pretty hard on me, my fault for not finding and corrugated cardboard to stiffen it with. But being flat, I'm confident I can get it all lined up when I mate the two halves. Greebling helped to hide the printer error which is always nice, but could be more pronounced. Also, I'm fairly sure that the graphics are missing the two ventral phaser strips. Nothing a sharpie won't fix lol.

Pylons are next, as is the upper saucer section (wish me luck).

Yes, nice clean folding and precision work.
What will be the dimension of the whole model in the end?

I think it'll be around eight inches bow to stern? I haven't mocked up the halves yet, but if it's in the same scale as Paragon's Prometheus and Voyager models (I've already built those if anyone wants to see them haha), then it should be around there.
