So, with regard to option 3, I'm currently drawing up a 1:1 model of the antique Lassiter Laser Pistol - the forerunner of all laser technology in the 'Verse.
When I make my replica props, I generally like to pride myself on accuracy, but due to the lack of material and the mostly-blurry screengrabs I have, it's a bit hard to be completely accurate, so I'm having to make do.
I've drawn up most of the gun, save for the butt and muzzle. Hopefully, if all goes well, I'll be able to finish this model by the end of the week before classes start for me.
