Sorry Steve, ancient Norwegian secret sign1 REALLY, i use a Sony Cyber-shot, 6 mega pixels:thumb:. the pics are actually A LOT better then you folks see them, i have to reduce them so much to post them here, the quality loss is quite high:cry:. I use 5 Mega Pixs and the Macro setting (my camera only goes to 5 mega pixsops: :cry: ).

Do you use the Macro too?

BTW, nice pics there. I always enjoy seeing new pics and even old pics!!!

I also have a Cybershot. Think mine only goes to 3.2, but I usually only use the lower two settings (VGA and 1.2[?])

THANKS!, Kurt!! . i have come up with TONS of ideas for different scenes:thumb: , just have to start making the objects to place on the diorama. i have put a pic of an "overall" of the diorama below(2'x4'), hard to believe that halfway decent pics come from itops:.

Josh, Macro? i just set the camera on the highest quality, and shootops:. i REALLY wanted an 8mega pixel camera, but for the price they are, i could have gotten ANOTHER BIG BOY:thumb: tooth1 .

Steven, i ONLY use the highest setting, makes larger size pics , but has the best quality:thumb:.

g_e_c, i use 3 light trees with 3 lights on each tree:thumb:.

I only use the Macro for the close-up's. For the rest, I just set it to the highest too.

GOT FUEL?tooth1 Big Ed & Fred sure were glad a fuel truck was able to make it out on the country road, seems they needed some fuel to make it back to the yard after a LONG run:thumb:.

hobokid, do i know the history of the Aerotrain? well,...i know the history of UP's Aerotrain!:thumb:. UP received the Aerotrian from EMD on 12/15/1956. the engine used the SAME prime mover as EMD's SW1200. the passenger cars were actually bus body's widened by 18''. UP used it to run from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, thats why it was called the "City of Las Vegas":thumb:. the train was nicknamed "the crapshooter". sadly, UP only used this BEAUTIFUL passenger train for only 9 months, it was then sold off to Rock Island. Interesting you mentioned the passenger cars were converted buses...

Looks like the engine cab was from a Chevy sedan and the observation car's rear end was from a Caddy with the fins. sign1

It's a well known fact to those that are familiar with UP's Rock Valley Sub, that their SD40-2's are the backbone of their operations:thumb:.
