wheelarangement 1'E'1h2 (1 unpowered axel, 5 powered, 1 unpowered, superheated steam, 2 cylinders)
gauge 750mm (2 1/2' ?)
weight 58 metric tons
max. speed 30km/h (19mph)
built 1952-1957 in Potsdam, GDR
last rebuilt 1991

I think those little locos are great. Iv'e just sadly demolished :cry: my L shape, Deutche Riechbahn , TT gauge layout made to fit in a mobile home. I'm re-using the boards for an HO set up for the NMRA(BR) group i'm in. I'd love to ride one of those little beauties.

It was a great trip, even better it was a roundtrip. On the way back we got seats on the open coach and the weather was perfect!!!!

well folks, its Saturday once again . today dad and i headed to the LHS for some supplies:thumb: . couple down sides to going to the LHS, takes 25 min one way, and we can NEVER get out of there in less then 2 hours
. so it ends up blowing 3 hours out of the day
. dad bought an old pop machine for the station, and a NICE old semi for the town:thumb: . for dads layout i bought some ballast, some people for the town, and some striping tape to stripe the roads in the town:thumb: . FOR ME, i got a bottle of Solvaset, a Accurail "solid gold" boxcar, a set of trucks for a boxcar i have, and 2 sets of N scale decals to use as warning stickers on a couple engines i am in the process of detailing:thumb: . announce1 ALL i got done on Dads layout today was striped the roads in the town , we spent about 2 hours looking in about 500 of dads boxes for one of two statues he has that would be perfect to put in the park on the edge of town...we never found them , probably in one of the boxes out in the garage . still have TONS left to do in the town, but here are a couple pics of how it looked at the end of the day:thumb: . The scary thing is that I immediately knew the reporting marks (FGEX) for a car I've never seen in real life! Gee...I don't spend too much time looking at train pictures...

Gee...I don't spend too much time looking at train pictures... On another note I have to say this: YOUR DAD"S LAYOUT IS A_W_E_S_O_M_E!!! :thumb: I love all the little details, and the fact that it's in my era! 
I can't get enough of that layout! How about a more detailed tour of that layout in the near future, please?
