Today I found a very beautiful blog by Elaine Wolfe, a math teacher:

She is a very creative person and provides templates for a zillion occasions - for free!

You can find flowers, slice forms, spinning carousels and ferris wheels, and even some very useful and informative things for teachers, pupils and students such a tangram, a super-pi-ball and many more.

OOOooH! I like this. Something to incorporate in a future model? Those crazy russians did it again - with an iphone to boot! Cool! Not quite pepper's ghost (close though), but still cool.

What amazes me is how much trouble people have making pyramids? I saw a fellow using a compass and then, of course, you have your dimensions, can draw off the arcs, connect the lines, and instead of cutting, use the template you just made, and fold the plastic. That leaves only one side to be connected. You can learn a lot with a compass and rule. These should be called "reflectorgrams" as they are not true Holograms, but they are neat.
