Finally getting around to my Gale Force Nine Drizzt Do'Urden model that came with the Nolzur's Marvelous Pigments Underdark set.

In Dungeons & Dragons, Forgotten Realms setting, Drizzt Do'Urden is a Drow (Dark Elf) Ranger. He was kicked out of his clan in the Underdark ( a huge cave system) because he refused to kill an innocent child to punish the childs mother. (Drow society is Matriarchal) He was befriended by an adventuring party, and taken "above" where he quickly became legendary.

The story of Drizzt and his companions have been novelized by his creator R.A. Salvatore

the pic with the mini on the Zealot base gives you a good idea of it's size. Primer coat applied.

The first layer of highlights, done with the original colors, applied.

The next step is to lighten the base colors, apply a second round of highlights, and detail the face. I may add color to the rivet heads on the leather armor.

Thanks, Every one teaches me something new, and I get a little better each time.
I know what you mean. The very first paper/cardstock "kit" model that I did was the Thunder Fighter (my Martin Saenger). It looked like a dog's dinner after I had finished building it. However, it took me a few more attempts before I was able to perfect it. Now everytime I build it, I see something else I could have done to improve it even more.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!
