Hello all,


Below are a few pictures updates of the BOF. Entering the finsh stages of the structure. Lately I've been working on the bag-house structure. Today I made two blower fans for the duct work. Scratch building can be rewarding, but yet what a pain sometimes.

In an older post I showed pictures of the back side of the BOF. Today a few pictures of the entire structure or close to it. The structure is so big its out of the camera range. So I'll have to show bits & pieces .

As it stands the BOF is 6 1/2' wide by 4' long by three feet high. Keep in mind this is compressed. If I would have built it to HO scale full size. I would have needed a bigger shed,much bigger shed.

Now as the BOF is winding down,I can start to finsh the other parts of the mill.

It's great to see steel mill modelling in a size that does justice to the prototype, Patrick. :thumb::thumb: You've got a great setting for those Kress Carriers, too, and even they're properly dwarfed by their surroundings. Nice work! :-D:-D
