I am going to build a good sized N scale layout, based on the Carolina Central from a semi-recent (March-ish of 2005) special edition of MR. It'll have that as it's core, but also have a Norfolk Southern interchange and trackage surronding it with a pair of legs leading to loops at the end. It will be in the North Carolina/Virginia/West Virginia area. It will be equivalent to a 4x9' or more layout. But this is *eventually* ;)

I am currently, however, working on some of the buildings that I will use in the layout. I currently only have a DPM Goodnight Matress Factory kit, which is built and painted. I'll post pics in a bit...


Anyone have ideas for detailing and weathering?
 
you can use some SIFTED dirt on glue of wet paint put it on and then knock the eccess off never tried it but I heard it works.
