After the model spreads the color the effect III

The Dora gun probably wasn't painted in Dunkelgelb since the gun was deployed in 1942 when the standard paint finish was Panzergrau (a very dark grey). Dunkelgelb wasn't mandated until the early part of 1943.

Looking at the film of the rollout of the Dora gun on Google video it seems to be finished in a single dark colour.

Charlie

Try searching the forum for "Leopold" - there was a build thread about the GPM model of the K5 a few months ago. That thread does have links to resources - mostly photos of the K5.

Edit - made it easy for you: http://www.cardmodels.net/forum/showthread.php?t=5342&highlight=Leopold

The colours on the GPM K5 are probably reasonable - it models one of the K5s used against the Anzio beachhead in Italy in 1944.

Regards,

Charlie
