Design and Test Build : Bahamut Final Fantasy VIII

So i'm giving a try at designing my first Papercraft : Bahamut, from the game Final Fantasy VIII.
I know it's not the simpliest one for a first try at designing it but I just love this one...

So i took a 3D model i found on the net for basis :

So since on eof the most difficult part on the build would be the head i decided to make a big scale first. So the height would be 35 cm for a wideness of almost 70 cm

Here's a preleminary unfold try that i'm going to rearrange and reorder :

I know it's quite a mess for now ^^ but since i'm building several projects at the same time, i'll tak emy time to put some order in this ^^

Now feel free to give me any advice that could be useful since i'm a total noob in this ^^
 
Little update of the unfolding rearrangement of Bahamut.

Wings are pretty much arranged (still seems to miss some flaps on them though...)

There is already out there a FFVIII Bahamut model (i've seen it mentioned as "official" so i guess it was published by Square), but it's nowhere close to the detail this one seems to have.

That is very good :)
 
Yeah, I found another model but it was not very detailed and "beautyful", so i though why not make one myself :p
