And here are the parts for the necks. Yes, you'll have to build two of them which means building five equal components twice.
But there is one step in the build process which repays for any inconveniences this build causes and requires. And I'm not telling what step this is! Just read the instructions and build the model, then you'll understand. It's smooth, it's elegant, a rewarding experience. :twisted:

This was a very fun build and I'm sure you'll enjoy it, too. But who could comment on this project better than Crichton himself. Luckily he's standing right in front of me.

@ RB: Great that you like it! Once the instructions are ready you'll get a copy of the kit for your archive and the new Buck Rogers downloads section.
@ ASC: I'll shrink the parts and send you a copy for test-building. There might be some issues because some the parts will become very fiddly. However, with combined forces I'm certain that we can do it. We may post any updates on the 1/18 scale figure here, too.
@ all: As you know the telescoping neck is one of the features I really wished to add to this kit. Since the 1/6 scale model is too small for that I'm going to build another neck and head in 1/4 scale - with telescoping action. So, stay tuned for more updates!

@ all: The parts for the 1:18 scale Crichton action figure are ready. I've sent them to ASC for testing. The kit will be revised on-the-fly. The parts have become very small, 1/3rd of the size of the model I have built. I have printed the pages on normal paper to see IF they can be assembled, and I am confident. However, it looks a bit like a UHU02 kit now .
