CP SD40-2 Patch Paint

well i was fliping through the decals at one of the "other" LHS and i came across the decals for the CP over UP paint. so i though it would be fun. Went back to my LHS to find locos. found 2 Kato Loco that would work great. taped off the locos leaving the UP to be painted over. i used EL Yellow for the patch. and her is what i ended up with.

Ok, now that just looks cool. I havn't seen any like that down here, but I did see a lease engine that had a big black line through the "Union Pacific" on the side (like the strikeout option for fonts on your computer) and the new reporting marks under the road number (C something, can't remember because I was driving and it was at night). I need to start working on my stuff again now that the warm weather is here, if the 2 year old will let me!

This isn't the same patch but they are a couple UP units that the Louisville & Indiana had sitting by their shops a couple years ago.
