What do you guys think about the "SELECTOR" weighing in? He seems so obnoxious as a moderator, unlike the gentlemen who watch over this sight. He also seems to have trouble posting on his so called "own" forum the smiley faces. I think he is using smileys that are not authorized. :rolleyes: CTT really turned me off when he showed up and he really hasn't done anything to moderate their forum.

well the wife took her LPN state boards on sat, SHE PASSED! as soon as she gets her papers from the state her work is giving her a 6.00 raise.

Woke up early this morning thinking about what I'd like to accomplish in '08, I think it's going to be a great year, in fact, I know it is!!!!!

Buckeye, I thought it Funny how I've been on CTT's forum for years and never ever heard of or saw any evidence of Selector - this current post is bizarre. But I guess I can give Kalmbach a break about keeping an eye on it.

Can't wait to go into the basement and see how my couplers on the front of Thomas and Percy turned out.

Now to more serious business. I have been looking for two months for a bridge to match my existing bridge. I am looking for a Lionel Extension Bridge, No. 6-2122. Photo below:

Normally this bridge can be purchased for around $20 -30 depending on the condtion. If you would see one of these in a LHS or on the web please give me a shout. I have a saved search on EBAY and CHOO-CHOO auctions, but as of this date, no success.

TOM....Yes, BPS is opening a store in OHIO. I would assume that the Chief would be flying into Cleveland. He is your problem this time, not mine. :thumb:

OZZY...Great news about your wife passing her boards.

RT and Doug....You would think at a minimum they would identify Selctor with an appropriate profile. The Moderators on every forum that I am on, including fishing, always have a special profile graphic.

Jeffrey...Keep posting your photos, because I keep staring at them. :thumb:
 
Buckeye, you will not believe this, I have two of them stored. I also have several other Lionel bridges in the box and never assembled. Got to see where I am going to do rivers on the layout. Right now, I do not see a "home" for my two big bridges. If so, got to modify then as my husky stacks will not go through them on a section of Realtrax. Was thinking of going with Gargraves and building up the approaches to the bridge to match the roadbed heigth if the Realtrax.

Home from Wilmingon. Resting before I climb on the roofs to get Christmas down. Wife wants to do that today. :eek::cry:

What an honor! However, I just can't mention that secret word here on the forum, then that sacred vestible would be violated and open to all. So I'l have to use the secret encrypted code I've been studying. And here it is: eyekcub. Thanks for the invite. Hope the hazing isn't too bad, I dont have any snow boots, just mud boots.

Regarding the administrator, I too couldn't figure out his intent, unless it was a common message posted to all threads. Or there was some editing going on that is not obvious.

Ozzy - Glad to hear about your wifes test results, keep us in mind about yours, looks like things are turning well for your family, more good news on the way!

I believe Selector is bogus, remember what Bob K. said about him last time? Me thinks Selector had been in the Mad Dog a bit too long :mrgreen:.

Buckeye--no, I was not born in a barn but did originate in NW Iowa where 10 degrees would be considered quite nice :cool: Perhaps you are getting soft as your years increase, next thing we know you will be living next door to Chief :cry:
