where the temp is 21 and headed to 36 with lots of snow. Some areas just east of me (3 to 4 miles) had up to 18" of the loving stuff. :eek:


Well Chief is out of town, so I will be nice and not pick on him.

Gil - where are you. How did your visit at the VA go :confused:

Last nights OTTS meeting was small turnout because of the weather. I did do some trading and know own a Lionel Crain car #3360. I will post some pics of it later.

COLD... and wet! :mad: Realy nasty this morning and I had hoped to display the Holiday Family Unit on the lawn.

Spanky, tell me all about thisd car, I would like to have one although I imagine it is out side of my budget for cars.

Today I am touching up a 657 caboose and looking for the rest of my pre war trains for under the tree.

I may place the Japan paper houses under there also theis year and Bachman fense. I have about 20 of the little buildings is several sizes, the large ones are harder to come by and I have maybe 5 of those.

My favorite orament other than or in a ddition to the card board houses are the glow in the dark animals and the plastic elves.

I often set up a 4 ft artifical tree with the glass bulp lights and my collection of ornaments some where in the house in addition to our family tee, for myself as Bubbette doesnt care for any of that, twas all before her time.

I bought a nice 30's truck that would be a good one with a load of coal in Virginia this weekend ( Lexington) and while in Staunton, we visited a local train shop and I took some photos of the train depot there.

I all so have a tellegraph set and a candle stick phone I like to put on my controll board for the trains.

I will mount my antique guns like the flintlock pictured here and my swords.

where the temp is 13 deg and headed to 22 with more snow in the forcast. We pick up about 3" over night, but just a couple of miles East of me, got 10 to 12" Got to love the Lake Effect Snow :D

The best part of Christmas as a kid was geting something for the trains :thumb: And it still is today ;)

Good morning. Feel better today. Had 101 temp all day and last night. Now they say that the Yankee push of snow will be repelled and we will get just cold rain. Off to a County Planning Borad meeting this PM. Let it snow in Snohio. :) God bless all.
 
Gil, that's some very nice tinplate you have there. I'll bet it looks awesome around the tree with the room lights off and the tree lit up. Does it run OK on Fastrack switches? I have a Lionel 259E that didn't like Gargraves or Ross switches when I tried to run it on a club layout.

Where the temp is 11 deg with Blue Clear Sky’s and heading to 18 deg. Here at work the temp is “0”. So much for Global Warming.



Big snow fall coming tonight, 4” to 8” more. Can’t wait for Winter to start.
