This update seems as if nothing has been done but the nose section, and wings have been completely re-done as new data has come up. So here it is, for what it is worth. More tweaking on the nose section to come. This fuselage will not have the conical type assembly so common on too many model aircraft. Expect longitudinal stripping.

The transition from the nose piece to the cowl is not smooth. Since paper does not lend itself well to these type of radii, I could put one in using many pieces, but it would not look good. I may try just to see. Most people want something to print and build and don't want to do any filling and sanding, so the result is what you see here. It's not bad, it's just not good. Any input would be helpful. Everything unfolds and should fit relatively well.

Hey Allen, it's always so nice to hear from you. I actually formed the nose by using the "Surface from Curve Network" that Goldenbear was has explained to be. The whole thing unfolds, can you believe it? It should be more than 12 inches long, you know me, I like big models. That should make an interior possible. I am using the same method you used for distribution of your models. I have not announced that as of yet but anyone knowing will get the hint! 
12" in length! Awesome! That's like 1/20 ~1/18 scale? So, I guessing you going to use wire in landing gears to hold up the weight?
My distribution method....... you going to get people to write hate mails calling you names, I'm telling you right now. But, I must say, it is not really all my method. I learned from mostly Asian designers and from friend suggestion. Now I'm thinking selling them in conventions and meets in limited printed format only, not sure yet.

Very cool! I'm an aviation fan so I'll be watching this with interest! All of my GA builds have been balsa, so a paper build with interior is way cool. Are you making hinged control surfaces?

Yes, I do plan to make the control surfaces hinged. Typing them together with Bell Cranks, probably not, but they will be adjustable. It really adds a sense of realism.

Anybody not aware of the "Allen Tam" method means, post some interest in the thread, get a model. That simple. One post wont do, though helpful posts count for a lot. Anyone have a suggestion of the final scale? 1/18 sounds good to me. With same Thin foam wings and an electric motor, it might even fly. The wings would have to be longer and wider in the chord, along with the elevator and rudder, but it's possible. Actually, someone wanting to make this into a flying model might want to make the formers out of balsa and the skin out of tissue.
1:18 is perfect! That is my scale of choice! I'll look great next to my 150, my Piper Cherokee, and my V-tail Bonanza (once I finish it). I have started converting the Starship 2000 to 1:18, but I have had some scale issues with the original. The rest of my 1:18 air field is more military.

No, not because of the landing gear, but because of the extremely limited distribution that will follow. I plan on doing my models following Goodducks system. Then again, there are the paper purists! )
I think 1:18 will be the size then. People can always scale down.

I wouldn't worry about getting the model. All you guys are in. I just need to get my but in gear. I get my Silhouette Cameo in a couple of days, so that should be a good thing. I just have to make sure that nose is good enough. Everything unfolds, but I would just like to get it a little more rounded.
