C N Electric a little beaut

Old

Chris:
You should note that those lokies were the oldest operating on a class 1 when they were retired. Built 1914-1917 and retired in 1995.
Not to be confused with their younger brothers built in 1924-26 or the really junior ones from 1950.
80 years is a good life for a loco by any standards; I doubt that any of today's will last that long.

Robin:
Accordion to the Trackside Guide, 5 of the 6 are preserved. 6714 is at Shore Line in East Haven, CT, US of A.
Others are in Deux Montagues, St Constant, Mount Royal, and Ottawa.
None of the later groups (6716 to 6727) are shown.

Chris:

In an older issue of RMC (I think... ), there were really nicely detailed drawings of this locomotive. I picked it up in the hopes of someday being good enough to scratchbuild or kitbash one.

If you like, I could see if I can dig up the issue.:)
