Yep, it may be much more difficult, but I think the rules have been established. announce1 Just the number by itself, no more, no less. It may also slow things down a bit as people scramble to find something with only the next number on it, but hey, that's the fun of the challenge.

Josh's post of a single GP 38-2 hauling a good number of loaded hoppers makes me wonder why some railroads use more than a single engine when its obvious that a single engine can do the job?? What "rules of thumb" govern consisting??

Marquette & Huron Mountain, a tourist line that operated in the Michigan UP during the 1960s. The locomotive originally worked for the Lake Superior & Ishpeming and that is the livery it is being restored to.
