The panels are attached to the hull.
they fit better then it looks on the picture.

Now i can start figuring out how to do the nose and the foldline to the sides..hum..

at the moment i'm working on the nose plating..
everything goes well untill now ..

i also tried how the mid engines will look.. i think it looks nice enough.

That nose piece is more difficult then i expected..
i formed the nose plate and sides...
taped them together...and glued the top color on it..
tomorrow i fold the the lines glue this on the speeder....when it fits...:-S

The panels look great in the picture. If they are perfectly flat, then you know it is just graphics. This has a real feel to it, one that no amount of graphic texture could add. :)

and THAT was the thing i wanted to create....

i'm glad that star wars is a used galaxy and not a new one..
this would be to hard with star trek.

I Have started with the side engines..
and now i'm figuring out how to scale them..
i think i make the engine telescoping in some way...so that it always fits.

it's fun to build this big...
but sometimes it takes so much time to do a piece..but when you see the results.....it's almost always great..and worth every minute.

today i made a little progress on the side engines..
i'm almost ready to install them....
